The physical layout of the Disney's Old Key West Resort is themed to the Keys as a grouping of islands (or "keys") that are connected by bridges to the festive village of clapboard buildings topped with tin roofs. The "Trumbo Canal", the resort's intracoastal waterway winds through the "keys". The lush landscaping with its flowering bushes, tropical plants and swaying palm trees are found amidst the waterways that wind throughout this large, spread out resort.

Check-In is at 4PM and Check-out is at 11AM. If arriving earlier than 4PM, you may go ahead and "check-in". A room will be assigned, and you will be given a Key (card) with a phone number to call after 4PM to get your room number.You can leave your luggage with the Bell Service, they will store it until your room is ready. And your free to go ahead and start enjoying the Parks.
