Discover the Treasures of the Old Southwest

At Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, discover a gem of a Resort that combines the beauty, fantasy and unique cultural elements of colonial Spain, Mexico and New Mexico. The Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is Walt Disney World's first family/convention center resort. As you enter the lobby, feast your eyes on La Fuente de Las Palomas or the "Fountain of the Doves" as the spring water trickles over the Spanish-style urn and gathers amidst the colorful tiles. The resort theming is based on a mix of Colonial Mexico and the American Southwest.

From the colorful spring-fed Fountain of the Doves to the hidden treasures of the Mayan-ruin themed Dig Site pool, escape to a tranquil lakeside vacation destination unlike any other. There are Palm-shaded courtyards and spanish-style haciendas create the perfect climate for relaxation. Soak up the sun in a relaxing desert-style setting, recalling the early days of Mexico and the American Southwest. Enjoy Nuevo Latino Cuisine, bicycling, boating, a state-of-the-art health club or take a refreshing dip in the pool, themed as an archeological dig site with a five-story Mayan pyramid. And best of all, you'll be in the heart of the Walt Disney World® Resort.
